London Stansted Airport is the main UK base for Ryanair, Europe’s largest low-cost airline. To support its operations, Ryanair maintains its own dedicated hangar on the north side of the airport, servicing its fleet of Boeing 737s.

The ATC Tower, opened in 1999, stands at approximately 60 metres tall, giving controllers a clear view of the airfield. Operated by NATS, it handles hundreds of movements daily, ensuring smooth operations at this major international hub. Both the tower and hangar are integral to Stansted’s infrastructure and a fitting tribute to one of the UK’s most important airports.
